UK PYROHM from Ohm Power Europe Ltd

Outdoor Solid Multi Fuel Biomass Wood Boiler Hydronic Appliance

As a simplified guide, compare our UK PYROHM product weights with our competitors similar rated kWh products.
Often our Ohm Power Europe Ltd appliances are 2 - 3 times heavier because of the active, new heavy duty gauge
BS steel and industrial grade welds we use to prevent thermal warping, cracks, fractures, corrosion punctures,
rust holes and the resulting failure leaks

£ per kg we are repeatedly heavier but cheaper in real terms

Example :
UK PYROHM costing from £13,500 with an empty dry weight of 1,400kg = 13,500 / 1,400 = £9.65 / kg

Competitor's costing from £10,000 with an empty dry weight of 700kg = 10,000 / 700 = £14.28 / kg

This example demonstrates that the UK PYROHM can be twice the weight but actually about -32% less per kg in price

Competitor's do not generally have such high capacity built in self contained Water Jacket Tanks. They rely on basic less efficient and perishable internal boiler heat exchanger pipe work which usually holds less than 100 litres continuously loop feeding a bulky separate accumulator buffer cylinder to store adequate Central Heating Water to be able to respond to the systems thermal demands

Once an extra separate accumulator buffer cylinder plus extra connection pipe work connections between the " small scale biomass boiler " is added in to the above equation this can increase the initial competitor's hardware and fitting
cost by about £2,000 bringing it up to about £12,000. This combined system of boiler and cylinder will also take up more valuable space than a UK PYROHM

In our UK PYROHM appliances the entire cylindrical steel Furnace Chamber wall is the heat exchanger providing direct heat in to the integral wrap around Water Jacket Tank with a far greater surface contact area and this therefore saves
on the cost of extra components, install footprint space and the associated additional pipe work

Our appliances are Top of the Range Heavy Duty Superior Premium Quality Gasification Solid Multi Biomass Fuel Boilers and we do not compromise on component build standards, technical specification, product resilience and longevity. The UK PYROHM has been described by some as the "Land Rover", "JCB bulldozer" and "Battleship" of biomass boilers

Ohm Power Europe Ltd can therefore state for the record that, in our considered professional opinion, " the UK PYROHM Gasification Furnace appliance range are cleaner , heavier, larger and stronger than comparable competitor's lighter weight fully self contained basic incinerator units "  comprising the 3 main elements of low emission biomass boiler, water tank and bulk fuel store in a single footprint stand alone model. However, our initial appliance prices and our low cost of ongoing DIY maintenance make them very competitive over their 30 year forecasted operational working life span and they can pay this back in only 2 - 3 years when offsetting Oil and LPG charges

We are so confident and proud in our UK PYROHM product range benefits and features that we are pleased to disclose our Engineering, Safety, Specification, Structural and Technical data standards below, whereas other manufacturers do not provide this degree of detailed information

UK PYROHM appliances under normal working conditions only require a low demand of electrical power in the region of about 500W (0.5kW) or 2 Amps at 240VAC across the product range to operate. This is to supply the intermittant Air Intake Fan & Automatic Flue Damper (if fitted) which only draw power when needed to feed the Furnace Chamber combustion process otherwise they are in a dormant mode consuming no power

As a result the UK PYROHM appliances have a very high Energy Efficiency Ratio ( EEF ). This is the comparison of the input electrical power required to generate the energy & operate the system excluding common circulation pumps etc compared to the amount of output energy generated by the unit for instance a Biomass fuelled boiler :

30kWh appliance ratio is approx 30 / 0.5 = 60 : 1

46kWh appliance ratio is approx 46 / 0.5 = 92 : 1

60kWh appliance ratio is approx 60 / 0.5 = 120 : 1

75kWh appliance this ratio is approx 75 / 0.5 = 150 : 1

90kWh appliance this ratio is approx 90 / 0.5 = 180 : 1

105kWh appliance this ratio is approx 105 / 0.5 = 210 : 1

UK PYROHM figures are very high EEF values when compared to other renewable & sustainable heating systems such as Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar etc with internal pumps & compressors which usually only have a maximum ratio of 10 : 1
